My Smile Health Center is equipped to handle all your dental needs, including the management of cavities and other kinds of tooth damage. We will work with you to give you a treatment that is effective and meets your aesthetic desires. We offer the following restorative dentistry services to keep your mouth healthy and functional.
- Mercury free fillings
If you need a filling, but have concerns about amalgam, or mercury fillings, don’t worry. We offer mercury free fillings, which are safe and match the color of your tooth, unlike the silver mercury amalgam fillings that were common in the past. Mercury free fillings are also less likely to damage the healthy tissue in your tooth because the fillings are bonded on to the teeth so less tooth structure needs to be removed.
- Safe amalgam removal
If you already have amalgam fillings, and would like to replace them with a mercury free filling, we offer safe amalgam removal. We can safely remove your silver amalgam filling and give you a brand new tooth coloured composite filling that will be healthier and more esthetic.
- Silver diamine fluoride
If you have a cavity that is in its early stages, you may not need a filling. A more comfortable alternative, called silver diamine fluoride, may be a good solution. Silver diamine fluoride is a liquid that is applied directly to the tooth to prevent the further development of the cavity. This is a quick treatment that usually only needs to be done once per year.

We wear respirators, KN95 masks, gowns & shields. We want to protect everyone. Not just ourselves, but our patients and everyone’s family.
